The name of your medicine is Efexor-XR. It contains the active ingredient called venlafaxine hydrochloride.Efexor-XR capsules are used in the treatment and prevention of depression and in the treatment of anxiety, including avoidance or fear of social situations and the treatment of panic attacks.Depression can affect your whole body and may cause emotional and physical symptoms such as feeling low in spirit, being unable to enjoy life, poor appetite or overeating, disturbed sleep, loss of sex drive, lack of energy and feeling guilty over nothing. Excessive anxiety is a condition in which you feel constantly and uncontrollably worried and distressed. It may also make you feel irritable, and cause difficulty in thinking and sleeping. Other common symptoms associated with anxiety may include a dry mouth, a lump in the throat, cold clammy hands, diarrhoea and nausea.Depression and anxiety are treatable illnesses. Anxiety or tension associated with the normal stress of everyday life usually does not require treatment with medicines.Efexor-XR capsules belong to a class of medications for depression and anxiety, called Serotonin-Noradrenaline Reuptake Inhibitors (SNRIs). Serotonin and noradrenaline are chemical messengers that allow certain nerves in the brain to work. Efexor-XR capsules increase the level of these two messengers. Experts think this is how it helps to restore your feeling of wellness.Efexor-XR is not addictive. How to use Venlafaxine OralRead the Medication Guide provided by your pharmacist before you start using venlafaxine and each time you get a refill. If you have any questions, consult your doctor or pharmacist.Take this medication with food, usually once daily or as directed by your doctor. Dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment.Swallow the medication whole. Do not crush, break, or chew the capsule or place it in water. If you have difficulty swallowing this medication whole, you may open the capsule, sprinkle the contents onto a spoonful of applesauce, and swallow immediately. Do not chew the food/medication mixture. Follow each dose with a glass of water. To reduce your risk of side effects, your doctor may direct you to start taking this drug at a low dose and gradually increase your dose. Follow your doctor's instructions carefully. Do not take more or less medication or take it more frequently than prescribed. Your condition will not improve any faster, and your risk of side effects will increase. Use this medication regularly in order to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, use it at the same time each day.It is important to continue taking this medication even if you feel well. Do not stop taking this medication without consulting your doctor. Some conditions may become worse when the drug is suddenly stopped. Your dose may need to be gradually decreased. This medication may cause dependence, especially if it has been used regularly for an extended time or if it has been used in high doses. In such cases, withdrawal reactions (e.g., nausea, vomiting, headache, numbness, tingling, nightmares) may occur if you suddenly stop this drug. To prevent withdrawal when stopping extended/regular treatment with this drug, gradually reduce the dosage as directed. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more details, and report any withdrawal reactions immediately. Fluticasone nasal spray is used to treat the symptoms of seasonal (occurs only at certain times of year), and perennial (occurs all year round) allergic rhinitis and perennial nonallergic rhinitis. These symptoms include sneezing and stuffy, runny, or itchy nose. Fluticasone is in a class of medications called corticosteroids. It works by preventing and decreasing inflammation (swelling that can cause other symptoms) in the nose.Fluticasone comes as a liquid to spray in the nose. It is usually sprayed in each nostril once daily or twice daily in the morning and evening. It is sometimes used only as needed to treat symptoms. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Use fluticasone exactly as directed. Do not use more or less of it or use it more often than prescribed by your doctor.Fluticasone nasal spray is only for use in the nose. Do not swallow the nasal spray and be careful not to spray it in your eyes.Your doctor will probably start you on a high dose of fluticasone nasal spray and may decrease your dose after your symptoms are controlled.Fluticasone nasal spray controls the symptoms of rhinitis but does not cure the condition. Your symptoms will probably not begin to improve for at least 12 hours after you first use fluticasone, and it may take several days or longer before you feel the full benefit of fluticasone. Fluticasone works best when used regularly. Use fluticasone on a regular schedule unless your doctor has told you to use it as needed. Continue to use fluticasone even if you feel well. Do not stop using fluticasone without talking to your doctor. Each bottle of fluticasone nasal spray is designed to provide 120 sprays. The bottle might not be empty after 120 sprays have been used, but each spray might not contain the correct amount of medication. You should keep track of the number of sprays you have used and throw away the bottle after you have used 120 sprays even if it still contains some liquid. To use the nasal spray, follow these steps: Shake the bottle gently. Remove the dust cover. If you are using the pump for the first time or have not used it for a week or more, you must prime it by following steps 4-5 below. If you have used the pump in the past week, skip to step 6. Hold the pump with the applicator between your forefinger and middle finger and the bottom of the bottle resting on your thumb. Point the applicator away from your body. If you are using the pump for the first time, press down and release the pump six times. If you have used the pump before, but not within the past week, press down and release the pump until you see a fine spray. Blow your nose until your nostrils are clear. Hold one nostril closed with your finger. Tilt your head slightly forward and carefully put the nasal applicator into your other nostril. Be sure to keep the bottle upright. Hold the pump with the applicator between your forefinger and middle finger and the bottom resting on your thumb. Begin to breathe in through your nose. While you are breathing in, use your forefinger and middle finger to press firmly down on the applicator and release a spray. Breathe gently in through the nostril and breathe out through your mouth. If your doctor told you to use two sprays in that nostril, repeat steps 6-12. Repeat steps 6-13 in the other nostril. Wipe the applicator with a clean tissue and cover it with the dust cover. Though not a true pain reliever, colchicine relieves the pain that occurs with a gout attack. It is believed to act by decreasing the amount of swelling in the affected joint.OTHER USES: This section contains uses of this drug that are not listed in the approved professional labeling for the drug but that may be prescribed by your health care professional. Use this drug for a condition that is listed in this section only if it has been so prescribed by your health care professional. This drug may also be used for other types of arthritis and certain liver conditions, and to prevent the aches and pains of a certain inherited disease (familial Mediterranean fever). How to use Colchicine OralTake this medication by mouth exactly as directed by your doctor. When prescribed "as needed" to prevent a gout attack from becoming too painful, take 1 or 2 tablets, followed by 1 tablet every hour or 2 tablets every 2 hours, until the pain is gone or you have stomach upset or diarrhea. Colchicine controls pain best when taken at the first sign of a gout attack. This "as needed" dosing should not be done more than every 3 days.To prevent or lessen the number of gout attacks per year, your doctor may direct you to take colchicine on a regular basis. Dosage will be based on your medical condition, the number of gout attacks you have per year, and your response to therapy. If you are directed to take colchicine regularly, take it at the same time each day to help you remember. Before you have any surgery (including dental surgery), your dose may need to be increased a few days in advance and remain increased until a few days after surgery.Inform your doctor if joint pain persists, if it worsens 12 hours after the beginning of the attack, or if it is not completely gone in 2 days.Colchicine Oral may also be used to treat: Arthritis of the Toes and Fingers due to Sarcoidosis, A Chronic Multisystem Inflammatory Disorder, Inflammation of the Joints due to Gout, Treatment to Prevent Gout, Familial Mediterranean Fever Natamycin is naturally occuring antimicrobial agent. Dipivefrin is used to treat glaucoma, a condition in which increased pressure in the eye can lead to gradual loss of vision. Dipivefrin decreases the pressure in the eye.Dipivefrin comes as eyedrops. Dipivefrin usually is applied every 12 hours. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Use dipivefrin exactly as directed. Do not use more or less of it or use it more often than prescribed by your doctor.Dipivefrin controls glaucoma but does not cure it. Continue to use dipivefrin even if you feel well. Do not stop using dipivefrin without talking to your doctor. To use the eyedrops, follow these instructions: Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. Use a mirror or have someone else put the drops in your eye. Remove the protective cap. Make sure that the end of the dropper is not chipped or cracked. Avoid touching the dropper tip against your eye or anything else. Hold the dropper tip down at all times to prevent drops from flowing back into the bottle and contaminating the remaining contents. Lie down or tilt your head back. Holding the bottle between your thumb and index finger, place the dropper tip as near as possible to your eyelid without touching it. Brace the remaining fingers of that hand against your cheek or nose. With the index finger of your other hand, pull the lower lid of the eye down to form a pocket. Drop the prescribed number of drops into the pocket made by the lower lid and the eye. Placing drops on the surface of the eyeball can cause stinging. Close your eye and press lightly against the lower lid with your finger for 2-3 minutes to keep the medication in the eye. Do not blink. Replace and tighten the cap right away. Do not wipe or rinse it off. Wipe off any excess liquid from your cheek with a clean tissue. Wash your hands again.
Cyclandelate is Vasodilator. Used in the management of cerebrovascular and peripheral vascular disorders. This product is able to be sourced and supplied at excellent prices because of favourable cross border currency conversions. All products are authentic brand names and will include a product information insert in English.Medical Information:Beloc Zok tablets are indicated for the treatment of hypertension. They may be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents.Beloc Zok is indicated in the long-term treatment of angina pectoris. This group of medicines is known as beta-adrenergic blocking agents, beta-blocking agents, or, more commonly, beta-blockers. Beta-blockers are used in the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension). Some beta-blockers are also used to relieve angina (chest pain) and in heart attack patients to help prevent additional heart attacks. Beta-blockers are also used to correct irregular heartbeat, prevent migraine headaches, and treat tremors. They may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.Beta-blockers work by affecting the response to some nerve impulses in certain parts of the body. As a result, they decrease the heart's need for blood and oxygen by reducing its workload. They also help the heart to beat more regularlyBelok Zok ampuls and tablets are indicated in the treatment of hemodynamically stable patients with definite or suspected acute myocardial infarction to reduce cardiovascular mortality. Treatment with intravenous Belok can be initiated as soon as the patient's clinical condition allows. Metoprolol, a type of medication known as a beta blocker, is used in the treatment of high blood pressure, angina pectoris (chest pain, usually caused by lack of oxygen to the heart due to clogged arteries), and heart attack. When prescribed for high blood pressure, it is effective when used alone or in combination with other high blood pressure medications. Beta blockers decrease the force and rate of heart contractions, thereby reducing the demand for oxygen and lowering blood pressure.Occasionally doctors prescribe Lopressor for the treatment of aggressive behavior, prevention of migraine headache, and relief of temporary anxiety. An extended-release form of metoprolol, called Toprol-XL, is prescribed for high blood pressure, angina, and heart failure. Telmisartan is used alone or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure. Telmisartan is in a class of medications called angiotensin II receptor antagonists. It works by blocking the action of certain chemicals that tighten the blood vessels, so blood flows more smoothly.Telmisartan comes as a tablet to take by mouth. It is usually taken once a day with or without food. To help you remember to take telmisartan, take it around the same time every day. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take telmisartan exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.Your doctor may start you on a low dose of telmisartan and gradually increase your dose.Telmisartan controls high blood pressure but does not cure it. Continue to take telmisartan even if you feel well. Do not stop taking telmisartan without talking to your doctor.High blood pressure reduction helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. This drug works by blocking the hormone angiotensin thereby relaxing blood vessels, causing them to widen. Telmisartan belongs to a class of drugs called angiotensin receptor blockers.OTHER USES: This section contains uses of this drug that are not listed in the approved professional labeling for the drug but that may be prescribed by your health care professional. Use this drug for a condition that is listed in this section only if it has been so prescribed by your health care professional. This drug may also be used to treat congestive heart failure and to help protect the kidneys from damage due to diabetes. How to use Temisartan OralTake this medication by mouth, usually once daily or as directed by your doctor. You may take this drug with or without food. Use this medication regularly in order to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, use it at the same time each day.Do not take potassium supplements or salt substitutes containing potassium without talking to your doctor or pharmacist first. This medicine can raise your potassium levels, which rarely can cause serious side effects such as muscle weakness or very slow heartbeats. For the treatment of high blood pressure, it may take 4 weeks before the full benefit of this drug occurs. Indicated for the relief of pain and inflammation in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. Aceclofenac belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It works by blocking the action of a substance in the body called cyclo-oxygenase. Cyclo-oxygenase is involved in the production of various chemicals in the body, some of which are known as prostaglandins. Prostaglandins are produced in response to injury or certain diseases and would otherwise go on to cause pain, swelling and inflammation. Arthritic conditions are one example of this. Aceclofenac is used to relieve pain and inflammation in arthritic conditions. All the medicines in this group reduce inflammation caused by the body's own immune system and are effective pain killers. What is it used for? A form of arthritis (ankylosing spondylitis) Inflammatory disease of the joints Osteoarthritis
Calvasc is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). High blood pressure usually has no symptoms. Having your blood pressure checked on a regular basis is the only way of knowing that you have hypertension. Untreated high blood pressure can lead to serious health problems.Calvasc belongs to a group of medicines called calcium channel blockers or calcium ion antagonists. These medicines work by widening your blood vessels. This makes it easier for your heart to pump blood around the body while also increasing the supply of blood and oxygen to your heart. Calcium channel blockers do not change the amount of calcium in your blood or bones.Calvasc is also used to treat angina pectoris. This pain is due to your heart not receiving enough oxygen. It is felt as a pain or uncomfortable feeling in the chest, often spreading to the arms or neck, and sometimes to the shoulders and back. Calvasc cannot be used for the relief of a sudden attack of angina. Your doctor will have given you other medication to treat sudden attacks. This medication is used to treat mental/mood problems such as depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder. It may help improve mood and feelings of well-being, relieve anxiety and tension, help you sleep better, and increase your energy level. This medication belongs to a class of medications called tricyclic antidepressants. It works by affecting the balance of certain natural chemicals (neurotransmitters) in the brain.OTHER USES: This section contains uses of this drug that are not listed in the approved professional labeling for the drug but that may be prescribed by your health care professional. Use this drug for a condition that is listed in this section only if it has been so prescribed by your health care professional. If directed by your doctor, this medication may also be used to treat certain types of pain (e.g., peripheral neuropathy, neuropathic pain) and trouble sleeping. How to use Doxepin OralRead the Medication Guide available from your pharmacist. It may take up to 2 to 3 weeks before you experience the full benefits.Use this medication regularly in order to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, take it at the same times each day.It is important to continue taking this medication even if you feel well.
